Another week, another tweet

This week is just like any other week. We had to do a total of 20 tweets, 10 being r/t and 10 of our own tweets, however, they had to be about our literature review topics. I found it to be a lot easier to find information this week, for some reason. This requirement allowed me to go on a deep dive into my topic on twitter and find new information that I hadn't known before. Something interesting and cute that I tweet about was a an elephant who thought a man was drowning and tried to rescue him. I thought it was the cutest thing ever! The baby elephant was so concerned for the man and thought he was drowning so he went and tried to save him. This showed me just how empathetic and amazing these animals are. They feel concern and care for a completely different species; a species who typically pose as a threat to them, may I add. It taught me that elephants' cognitive abilities are so complex and advanced.

I also found a really 2 great accounts this week that showed a couple videos of elephant intelligence and they had great, informative content. One was by a man who goes by Dr. PM Dhakate (@paragenetics) and he is a chief conservator of a forest in India. The other was by a woman named Lynn Von Hagen (@LynnVonHagen1) who is a conservation biologist that focuses on elephant behavior. If anyone has the chance, they are educational accounts to check out because they tweet a lot about animals and their behaviors. I also went into a deep hole of hashtags and I found the most beneficial content when using the hashtag #elephantconservation. However I did try #elephantbehavior, #elephantresearch, and a bunch of other combinations.
We were also required to comment on one peer's annotated bibliographies this week and the one I reviewed was great! Her page were very clean, organized, and easy to read/find. The research agenda that I visited and commented on was Mariana Garcia's. I thought she did a fairly good job on her annotated bibliography. It was concise and straight to the point, but also informative. I made sure to give advice on what she could add in their sources, such as page numbers, volumes for her articles, and the years they were published. Overall, she all did a great job on her annotations and the format of her page correctly labeled what it was for and what content would be posted.
